Playing Catch up!

I am playing catch up on the blog. As most of you know we lost my brother a short time ago. We were very lucky to have had a great visit from him this summer and will always cherish the memories we made. We took him to the Georgia Aquarium and he loved it. He and Sullivan had a blast and we took him to our friends pool with us and he and Sullivan had the best time in the world together. We will miss him greatly. Also this summer we took the kids to the beach and we took my mom with us. Gramme as we call her. We stayed at Baytowne Wharf and I wish we would have gotten good shot of the balcony we had. It was gorgeous and I loved it. It was the best place to stay with kids and the pool was fantastic!! Sullivan finally decided that he loves the ocean and didn't want to get out. We got some good pictures and had a relaxing time. Enjoy the photos!!

Jack Brooks Stuckey has arrived!!!!

Jack Brooks Stuckey arrived on June 15th at 8:09 pm. He weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. 20.5 inches. Sullivan has truly enjoyed becoming a big brother. We were lucky to have both Nana & Gramme to stay for a week to help out. We had Nana and Pop here when Jack was born and Gramme too. Then Nana and Pop had to go home and Gramme stayed with us for a week and during that time Grandy and Kay came to visit. While Jack and I were in the hospital Sullivan had camp at school and the theme was Beach. It was a great distraction for him since he would have been bored at the hospital. Here are some pictures from the passed couple of weeks.

There are some pictures of us playing at the pool with Coco & Bobo, playing at the airport park, playing in our pool, and getting our new Zhu Zhu pet stuck in our hair. We have also had visits from our friends Tori & Bryan Johnston who are expecting in November (we are soo excited for them) and our friend Keith that lives here. We have had many other visitors, but I didn't get pictures with those friends. But we have truly been blessed with great friends, family, and now 2 beautiful boys. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Catch up continues! Date night, the Aquarium, & the deck!

This is from the night after my birthday. It is a picture of me, sullivan, Ward, (to his left) Patrick Brien, (holding Sullivan) Keith Davis, (beside me) Jason Payne, & (to the right of him) Brett Price. We went to dinner at Scallini's in Smyrna which has been known nationwide to help pregnant women deliver their babies. Needless to say it hasn't worked for me either time, but it has fantastic italian food. The waitress asked me how I ended up the only girl, but Patrick's wife was out of town and the other guys lady friend's were unavailable. But it has never bothered me to be the only girl before, so it sure didn't that night. Mainly because it was all about me and I thank them all for that. It was my last big night out before Jack got here.

The next morning my mom and I took Sullivan to the Georgia Aquarium. She had never been and it is a really cool place to go, especially for Sullivan who is in to fish, sharks, sharks, anything oceanic, and more sharks. Here are a few pictures.

On the weekend of May 1st, two my best friends threw Ward and I a couples/family sprinkle. It was called a sprinkle instead of a shower and everyone thought that was really cute. It was mainly for the people we know here since we know it is hard to try to get everyone in one town together to have a celebration. This is a copy of the cute invite that they sent out.

Many of the people that came to the sprinkle were Sullivan's friends and their parents that are good friends with Ward and I. Both Ward's my mom and my mom were able to make it to town to be at the sprinkle. We were all so excited that they both made it, especially Sullivan. Here are a few pictures from that day.

April trip to Mississippi

Well, I am going to do a little bit of catch up. After Easter Sullivan and I went to Mississippi for the week (it was his spring break) and my cousin Deborah was getting married as well that up coming weekend. Ward came and met us in Mississippi that weekend and then we went up to his parents house on that Sunday and spent the night so we could bring the baby bed back from our storage facility. So here are some pictures that we took while home. Enjoy the pictures.

Here is the slide show from Deborah (aka Dedda) & Jason's wedding!

Easter and some other Spring stuff

One night when Ward was working on dinner, Sullivan decided he wanted to cook too. So I got him a piece of tupperware to stir in and he said, " no momma, I want a pot too." After he said that I got him a pot and then he wanted a whisk too, so I got him one. It was so cute, but my least favorite part was when he wanted some water like dad. Boy did that bring on the mess in my kitchen. So this is a picture of them cooking together.

Sullivan's school had an Easter Egg Hunt before their Easter Party and he had the blast. He had so many eggs and was so proud of himself. I got a cute picture of Sullivan and his friend Calder. She is so cute and funny and they have a so much fun at school together.

My mom came to celebrate Easter with us. The Saturday before Easter we were invited to go to our neighbor friend Eli's church for an Egg Hunt. They threw out 7,000 eggs for all the kids and after all the kids went on the hunt and were finishing up there were still some eggs out there to be gotten. It was wild! Our other neighbor friend Henry went on the hunt too, and we all had a blast. Henry's mom Julie helped him on his hunt and Sullivan's grammy helped him on his hunt and during all of this I took photos. Eli had his mom and Grammy to help him on the hunt. I think we all had a great time watching the boys run around and grab eggs. After they were done with the hunt they had a craft there for the kids to do. It was a craft for them to decorate an easter egg magnet. They had a lot fun dancing around to the music that was playing while they went through their buckets. So it was a big time for all. Later that day our family had our portraits taken by my friend Kathy Richardson. She has done Sullivan's protraits since he was 4 months old. She is fantastic and if you are on Facebook with me and you want to check out her work, I am a fan of her page. Sullivan always has so much fun when she does his portraits. And she always gets the very best shots of Bailey, who I might add loves Kathy and will pose for her anywhere.

Sorry that I am a bit behind on the blog but I will catch up soon. One Friday in February we had such a great snow. It was the best snow day we have had yet. Sullivan was so excited when it really started coming down that he couldn't sleep for his nap so I just rested and let him watch it snow for a little while. Then we went outside to play with our neighbor across the street, Jason and our other friend, Keith. We had a blast and Ward came home during that time so we all go to play and have so much fun. When Ward got home he came straight over to play and then went in to get Bailey and to change into something warmer. We had a blast and Sullivan couldn't get enough snow to play with until he started to get cold. After we watched Jason make a giant snowman, Keith showing Sullivan how to make a snow angel, and then we went down the street when we saw Eli to play for a bit, we went in for hot chocolate. We put dry clothes on Sullivan and I got ready to head to the grocery for a few things that we needed. Later that night Ward went across the street to hang out for a while and Sullivan finally settled down enough to go to sleep. A fun day was had by all and everyone slept well. There are a good bit of pictures in this slide show, but there were so many to choose from between Keith pictures and my pictures. Enjoy!

The next morning Ward, Sullivan, Bailey, and I went out to play again. We saw Memom and Mr. Alan outside. Then Ward and Sullivan built a snowman. But my favorite picture is the one below of just Sullivan holding a snowball. After our snow started to melt and go away Sullivan would watch everyday to see if his snowman was completely melted away. Enjoy the rest of the pictures! I hope you all got to enjoy your snow day
if you had one.

Well, It's another boy! Wow, What a winter wonderland it has been!

Well, If you didn't already hear we are having another boy! Ward and I were convinced that we were having a girl, but there is no way we could be right. Now, we just have to come up with a name. We are working on that so that will be revealed eventually. Sullivan seems to be very excited about having a baby brother. We took him with us to find out and he waved at the TV screen that showed his baby brother and then he stuck his tongue out at the screen and then me. Boys will be boys and 3 year olds will be 3 year olds. The good news is that we have boy stuff and bedding that will be perfect for him. Ward and I are very excited that there will be another Stuckey boy and not just one as there is now. With Ward's sister Edi having 4 girls, and Ward's brother Alan had a little girl in September, and my cousin Robin has 3 girls, so it seems we needed a little bit of testosterone instead of more estrogen. Ha Ha!
23 weeks

We have had 2 snows since the last time I updated the blog. The first one was very light and not a whole lot to it, but the temperature was in the low 20s versus what we usually have which is in the low 30s. So that day was really hard to get out and play, but we did anyway even though we were cold. Sullivan enjoyed it despite freezing and he even played with a friend, Alan Jr., in it. Ward decided that for a sled we would use the top to our big Rubbermaid Tupperware box that we use when traveling at Christmas, which did OK. Then he decided to try it as a snowboard, that wasn't as good. But the best was Sullivan pushing his daddy on it. He has so much fun trying to be a big boy.
Sullivan is doing really well on his potty training. We are very proud of him and he is very proud of himself. I think that is a good thing, to be proud of yourself. So when he has gone pee pee in the potty he wants to tell the world. And I do mean the world, like when we are at Target and he had to go potty when we were all done he told everybody when we came out there that he tee teed in the potty. It is too funny! So please pray for that sweet boy that he will continue to do good.

The last weekend in January we went to Mississippi to put some stuff in storage, to make more room in our house, and for me to help give a wedding shower for my cousin Deborah. She is getting married in April and we are just so excited for them. As you all know, I am a huge fan of marriage, even when it isn't perfect that day, I love being married to Ward. I am always happy when two people find happiness. We really like Jason, he is such a nice guy and she deserves that. When I was little I spent a lot of time with Deborah and Kate and I always enjoyed it so much. It is so much fun to think about the things we did together when we were young. I love that we all still keep in touch, of course for those of you who don't know they are sisters and they would always keep in touch, but I have always felt blessed to be close to all my cousins on both sides of the family (my mom's & dad's). We had Deborah a very nice shower at her soon to be sister-in-law's house. We actually had some snow flurries that morning on our way, but we were all able to stay warm. Deborah got many beautiful things, and she was so cute while opening them, as you will see in the pictures. (Sorry Deborah if you don't like some of them) Deborah also had mostly family there from his side and her side, so we all got somewhat aquainted and that is always nice. A great time was had by all and the food was great! Good job ladies! Enjoy some of the pictures.

Hope you enjoy our pictures! We will update more soon!
